Re: On the Discovery of High Noon and The Devil in a Glass Jar. by MacFrantic 5-May-04/8:02 AM
I fail to see the connection between the two limericks, but I do not see a real need for connection... after all we can only post every 2 days. Funny limericks.
Re: The Influence of Anxiety by Nicholas Jones 5-May-04/7:52 AM
I love it. There are far too many poetry snobs and pedants on this site. I say fuck poetry.

ANybody who curses at the cubs gets an automatic 10. though this was a very good poem on its own.

Re: Natural Remedy by richa 4-May-04/11:53 AM
I find it less readable now. Well, less clear.
Re: Shame by Joe-joe 3-May-04/3:38 PM
I think it is pretty fucking good. I like the way you cast shame in a postitive light. Though, frozen with fear, and the religious overtones detract. but what the fuck do I know? Nothing. ANd yet i wield a vote as sharp as any other....aint democracy grand?

Re: sad bastard by FreeFormFixation 3-May-04/3:20 PM
Good, i think done with the proper amount of restraint, (well, at least as much as can be exercised in a poem of this nature). I think perhaps a little cutting to shorten.
Re: Natural Remedy by richa 3-May-04/3:17 PM
To taste if needs be...i aint no fuckin gardner, and maybe this phrase is an apt ending amongst gardening type folk, in the fold, but it leaves me a little limp, and desirous of something more satisfying.
Re: All Alone by QuirkyWonder 3-May-04/11:05 AM
put down the pen.. and slowly back away from the paper. Pick up a chair and begin to bludgeon yourself until you can no longer stand.
Re: the beale street mud festival. by wilco 3-May-04/9:17 AM

Re: Its the same old static & flaccid striptease. by SupremeDreamer 28-Apr-04/11:20 AM
I think it is good, except for the fact that you do not degrade women enough. How bout a dose of misogyny tossed in for good measure, and maybe snuffle up some rails in there somewhere?
Re: AIDS in a van by -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. 24-Apr-04/12:19 PM
um, somebody gave this a 10 because that is where the spinning wheel of his or her mouse landed. Do you not know that all voting on this site is arbitrary??? Well, maybe not all, because apparently there are some not with the program. here's my spin....
Re: jammin in the basement by xunitedx 24-Apr-04/6:16 AM
HOly shit that is horrible...it is so bad that it is good. 10
Re: Words that the Earth has to say… by nothingtoanyone 24-Apr-04/6:14 AM
last line is perfect...do to plain and simple stupidity....Genius! Unfortunately, the rest of it is endlessly unbearable drivel, and it is only 9 lines long. Well...Here goes the spin...5
