When she beats me (Free verse) by Win
I never see it coming Her fisted hands are quicker than lightning more relentless than a raging flood And all the while she smiles a smile so stunningly radiant it amazes me In that moment, she is as beautiful and powerful as any goddess In that moment she is wild and free And I rejoice, for I know then that she does love me but the yearnings of her heart come quicker to her hand than to her lips I rejoice, and I wait for the day when she too will know, beyond a shadow of doubt, that I do love her, beatings and all

Doesn't exactly sound like a healthy relationship. In fact it sounds downright disturbing.
I kinda dig the poem though.

Quite an interesting read to see the perpetrators affect on the perpetrated, an honest piece told straightforwardly -7-

Great title.

Is that some forshadowing there at the end?
