Dark angel has only ever written two funny poems -child of my buttocks and a gentleman. All the rest of the humour generated was by hysterical yank fools who believe we should all have AIDS so as to have empathy with the fags and smackheads who are the petri dish in which the disease was formed.
Furthermore Bernard Manning is indeed funny. There was a documentary on him going to India on channel 4 last night (for those who do not know this TV channel is run by the British state to broadcast to aforementioned gays and drug addicts and has a distinctly anti-war stance). Bernard wheezed his diabetes addled body around India and was seen in only a pair of briefs whilst eating a curried tomato. The man is very very funny - I hope they capture the moment he dies in a fly on the wall documentary - that will be worth watching.
In short you have incorrectly articulated the sentiment I belive you were trying to express. That being that Dark Angel's poemas are tired and too full of in jokes to merit reading whereas Bernard Manning is not funny in the jokes he tells but is funny in the life he leads.

Re: My Back Fat by charlie busted |
27-Jun-03/1:29 AM |
An interesting confessional. I applaud the sincerity of the sentiment. Charlie from busted is a very good looking person and I don't think a small smattering of back fat should interfere with both a succesful pop career and a healthy active life. Should the back fat subsume the front of you as well, enveloping what little visible frame you have remaining ala Rick Walla then I think you should write another poem concerning your general surfeit of blubber however at this time I believe the sentiment expressed here is both fitting and enough.

In fact I will go further than that, this poem is a bag of horseshite which I think Justin Timberlake would think about twice before singing.
