i cant' let him go (Free verse) by roses are red
She lays in bed and wonders why She starts to cry and gives a soft sigh She was told they were never meant to be But in her eyes, he was all she could ever see A tragic love, that's what they said A silly one-sided infatuation It's been so long, but why can't I forget? Everyday she sits and asks herself that She wouldn't give him up even when he said no She loved him too much to just let him go But if they were meant to be, she should set him free That's just impossible she says, what if he never returns to me? And yet again they tell her to forget it all But what do they know? She's the one having to take the fall

Up the ladder: Friendship
Down the ladder: Was/Were You?

There is a place beyond all of this pitter patter. That place is life on the planet Earth. Try it.

I would sooner be found in bed stuck in Saddams arse by a CNN crew with my family watching then ever have to read that pile of contrived bowel leakage.
