Dovina, you must have realised by now, the way I artfully swagger around leaving damp patches all over poemes, that my virility is in no way an illusion; why I only have to walk past a lady and she will be struck my morning sickness.

This is a very good piece. However I am concerned about your fascination with middle age, are you trying to make yourself feel happier about the onset of drooping and the ceasing of your monthlies?

Vote for blonde, bubbly right winger?
Or a fat lesbian minger?
It's Mel for me,
For she's the Tory,
To make Peter Snow a swinger.
Now that fat truck of a mess from labour!
Why, only a body transplant could save her,
The size of her belly,
And her cunt's like a welly,
Filled with communist jelly.
The lib dem is as plain as a door,
Without paint or other decor,
Tax and spend is the vow,
Of this skinny frau,
She is easy to abhor.

It is a real song in so far as it is written lyrics which accompany an offbeat reggae tune. It is about a friend of mine who pursued a different, less successful, career path than me. He became a surf bum/waffleman who is living the dream by spending the entirety of his life making waffles for tourists in Devon. And he makes damn bad waffles.

You're right, it seems like its easier to some people to knock you down rather than build you up. If only everyone could be honest with themsleves and speak from the heart rather than the bottom. It seeems like no one wants to be nice anymore but have to knock people down to make themselves feel better about their inadequacies. :(

Excellent retort. Your open expressions really come through without the use of grammar - It has certainly altered the way I view poetry. -9-

What are you on about? Goad you really have never made any sense, and now your upsetting new users like damien. I think it's about time we started to foster friendly relations with new users rather than just trumping randomly offensive meaningless vermin-like comments.

Zodiac is a bit of an idiot - read his work if you want proof - ignore him, he just goes around trying to besmirch everyone's work when actually he is a bit of a dunce himself. I like this poem and certainly feel the last couple of lines are powerful. -9-

Clever rhyme stategy. I don't want to be identified with zodiac's rude ranting all over you last poem but this poem may read better if there was a concession to grammar? anyway I think as it stands it's worth an eight of anybody's votes.

The once warming, nay, comforting shroud of guff that surrounded your work, like a brown halo, has been penetrated by a sharp incision of failure hence the above poem receives a fitting vote of -4- :{
