A greater purpose? (Free verse) by Damien
Am I worthless, are my efforts not needed Do I believe in everything I perceive? Does this life have the purpose I hold within myself? Or must this hell carry on leaving nothing on the shelf So now you must see that my emotions are nothing- As my focus with this intention will free something But back to my dreams I wish to carry out By dreams I mean the thing conceived without any doubt… I believe I must develop myself to prepare for this journey I must earn it and practice things that truly are worth it Then I must obtain the one thing humans crave This currency of state that destroys this race A new system will need to be in place as we breed together But we must help each other and forget bad weather If we see the truth that we can evolve before these eyes A transformation of mass creation will be present in our minds So the conclusion of all this//(stop) is I will personally live in bliss And share my love with all I should to manifest a shift

Up the ladder: Panic Slide

This would be good if I found it scratched on a bar napkin. As a poem, it's a disjointed ramble. I think you should think about what you want to say before saying it. some good thoughts are scratched here.
