Dumb yanks. I'd say something to the effect of "Don't mind them, they're still mad from when we burned down the white house", but the poem just isn't that great. Still, "dumb yanks".

The title came from the poster of the bosch painting that was the first thing I saw every day. I will edit, but now I am mostly working on another fiendish project.

A rewrite may happen. This thing came out of the madness of last year, which featured: the shittiest job ever, professors made of pure evil and 4 hours of sleep a night and their ensuing hallucinations.

I was thinking the same thing, balthazar. That mixed with one of those Chick tracts or something.

This is just runny, poorly-applied eyeliner, a black t-shirt for that "mall-goth" effect and a 16-year-old screaming at her parents about how "no one understands". Bah.

Poetandknowit, you're too kind. you're such a stern daddy figure, helping us poor plebians with our little poems. It's not that you don't coddle, it's that you're a self-righteous, blowhard with no talent backing up his pretentious little words.

Darling, your brilliant use of the English language astounds me."Drivel" is a noun, not a verb. What on Earth is your degree in? Business? I'm sure you were at the top of your class at the Sad Redneck Community College, really you were. you said you'd voice your precious little opinion and move on.I'm waiting. You must be very mature for your age- what are you, 19? The object of the site is to discuss poetry as you said (so observant!you get a special short-bus, rubber-undies head-pat!), so why are you doing nothing more than writing your "deep" "hip" little snippets of your dramatic little life and bragging about the fact that you took English in college. English is for useless failed writers. you should have taken some real courses.

Yes, though this needs polishing, it's good deep down. Don't worry about "poetandknowit", he's a pompous, pretentious bastard who seems to have deemed himself the most knowing and mature "poet" on the site, and therefore it's his job to ensure creeping postmodernism and to keep all the comments on topic. He is,in short, a wannabe dictator, poorly endowed and lacking in social skills.
