Re: On a chill morning by razorgrin 16-Oct-02/11:12 AM
This is not bad at all. Just one little thing -- you come out the house, turn around the corner, look at him, drive off -- wait a minute, when did you get into the car?
Re: a genius by moonUnit 16-Oct-02/7:03 AM
The ending is so damn boring...
Re: Dying for a Dowry by Blue Magpie 16-Oct-02/7:01 AM
Humanity hasn't sunk this low, it's simply always been this low and never risen higher.
Re: Ashes by Mutant_X 16-Oct-02/6:54 AM
The last two stanzas ruin a not too bad first one. Especially the last one.
Re: like love in the movies by crin 16-Oct-02/6:47 AM
I'll hope the music to this is good. It might just save it.
Re: Choices by Ojiboch 16-Oct-02/6:47 AM
Ouch. My brain is hurting.
Re: a comment on AIDS Bonanza! by -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. 15-Oct-02/5:29 PM
'Friverless'? What the devil does 'Friverless' mean?
Re: a comment on Devotion by Tyriana 15-Oct-02/5:25 PM
Why razorgrin darlink, one would expect you to like something like this.
Re: Child of my Buttocks by -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. 14-Oct-02/8:57 PM
Ah, -=Dark_Angel=-! You always post such wondrous, sheer, unadulterated shit. (I'm assuming you'll take this as a compliment.)
Re: Happy hour by flatliner 12-Oct-02/9:12 PM
Altar, AltAr, ALTAR!!! Why the hell can'T people figure out it's spelt with a second 'a'? Yeezhus. (Sorry, sorta. I've seen a lot of this in poems lately.)
Re: a comment on Daywalker by Blade 12-Oct-02/8:24 AM
I see. I express my opinion and I'm fucking rude, but somehow you're not? You have done nothing but post an godawful comment, misspelled, which I read and found disturbing bad. If your insults had any intelligence or invention to them, I might listen, but they are puerile, cliched spoutings. You do indeed express what you're feeling, but badly. I fail to see why your coming from England should mean I oughtn't to cuss. I'm perfectly willing to believe that you're able to spell and create a grammatically correct sentence, but you'll have to do better than this last post of yours to convince me. Much better. You are an overly sensitive little girl, though I confess a certain amusement at reading you. Especially when you scream at me not to be rude in far ruder language than I ever used on you. All in all, you could rearrange that little rant of yours into a most interesting surrealistic poem with a bit of tweaking. Give it a go, won't you? It couldn't be much worse than what you've done already
Re: a comment on Daywalker by Blade 11-Oct-02/9:02 PM
My dea girl, please. We're not all excellent writers, but a large number of us can spell. Which is apparently beyond your intellectual capability. And this particular poem is rather bad. If he eliminated the comma at the end of the second line, even that would increase its value greatly. Though it would still not make it very good. He has done no shit to us than force us to read an extremely bad poem -- the same way that you have done nothing to us but make us read bad poetry, save that you add the insult of atrociously bad spelling to it. Take a basic English course and then we can speak
Re: A Soldier's Promise by Ninoy_Instigator 9-Oct-02/5:25 PM
Yes... yes... she does rather deserve better than you. Rather.

Actually, I don't know the lady. Maybe she does deserve you. But if that's so, I can't imagine what she did in a past life. Poor thing.
Re: a comment on Sisters of mercy by strider1 9-Oct-02/1:01 PM
You apparently think that you're doing me a compliment by comparing my intellect to yours, which is an incredibly arrogant way of doing things. You are so insufferable that I am beginning to believe that you must be a joke played on us by one of the regulars here. You show up and insult everyone's poetry; when your own is criticised, you try to explain it by saying that it is beyond the masses' intellects and talk about what it is; your best answer to someone saying that this poem is shite is to answer, 'No it's not, it's good'; and you believe that young people can't appreciate Leonard Cohen. Ballocks. You inform us that you spit in the face of convention, but I'm afraid I must tell you that this is rather cliched; a great number of rather bad goth poets have used the same sort of images to express the same sort of ideas. It is puerile to defend yourself by saying that we are not intelligent ennough to understand: that is the argument of the artist who has no other defence. Useful, is it not?
Re: a comment on Sisters of mercy by strider1 9-Oct-02/12:46 PM
And it does not take guts to make a comment, especially on bad poetry. I do it quite often. Do you really find it courageous to post all the comments you've made?
Re: a comment on Sisters of mercy by strider1 9-Oct-02/12:30 PM
My God -- you actually have the gall to excuse an idiotic number of commas making nonsense of what you're saying (which is nonsense anyhow) by saying you can do what you want with your own poem, and then go post those comments of yours? That must take the cake. You're even more of an arrogant bastard than I am. I'm almost impressed.
Re: Sisters of mercy by strider1 9-Oct-02/11:23 AM
Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

By the way, just because a line has ended does not mean it requires a comma.
Re: a comment on Ambiguous Love Poem For A Girl I Once Knew by poetandknowit 9-Oct-02/11:20 AM
They're the same person, Strider. For someone so wondrously critical, you apparently have some problems with basic writing. Pity.
Re: why i look like a man by rosiebailey 8-Oct-02/1:01 PM
Either you're a genius like -=Dark_Angel=- or else you're an utter idiot. The jury's still out.
Re: It's time you get here by devina 8-Oct-02/12:45 PM
I think it's time you get out of your house and start looking. Yeeshus.
