It went on one stanza too long. And the line "Its a gast of inpossible waves". "inpossible"? thats immcorrect. And what is gast? Otherwise, I love it. (Its very applicable to a current situation I'm in. For that... 99999999999999999999

thanks. maybe its because I'm psuedo-american (ie Canadian) that I have no need to throw in lines about flags or eagles. Yet here in southern ontario, I am much closer to new york than someone in, say, california.
the thing i remember most now is the dust that choked the great canyons of the city blocks. the wailing, the whiteness, and me half dressed, scratching rats nest hair, clutching the tv remote without strength left.

is it so wrong to make funny words for the tv generation,
why is okay to make a reference to a book
but not a tv show?
because you and your friends have read the book?
Its all just beautiful stories
oh well

Area 51 is a US Airforce base in the Nevada(?) desert, which is well known to conspiracy buffs, UFO researchers, and Roswell believers.
It allegedly houses crashed flying saucers and/or aliens and/or secret gov't UFO experiments.
Agent Scully is the red headed female FBI agent from the TV show The X-Files who is a sceptic,
and a hottie, and often performs autopsies. A Pinwheel eye is ... er... next question!
