(Rough Draft) The Adventures of Zoot and Corky (Free verse) by Owner of the Sky
I told you to pack light, and said, it will be hot. After two hours of pacing, wearing out The observation deck carpet... there you were, Two backpacks in tow, trying to look casual But even from a floor up, I saw the near-panic Creep into your green eyes as you looked for me. Did you even know what you were looking for? Without pausing for breath, you held me. I laughed and said, if it weren't for your hair People would think you were a native. You looked so good in shorts. And the Bayer Lieverkusen shirt (they tried so hard in UEFA '98) You chased me all the way to the parking lot. You wanted to watch the airplanes land and take-off. You smiled. I do this, thinking about you, as you know My apartment is near the airport (lower rent). So now I can say, ha. Ha. Ha. She is here with me. Now. We decided to hop a bus, take me there. The beach you told me about, 2 hours away. We were crammed in the back of the bus, With hard boiled eggs and nuts. A deck of cards, we played crazy eights With our own crazy rules. We laughed as the bus went over speed limits Because the cards begun to fly out the window And bring out startled curses from alarmed motorists Behind us. We put everything behind us. And that night, as we were lying side by side On the narrow wave breaker, Sixty feet away from the shore, Without street lamps, In the tiny fishing village. I sat up, and you sat behind me Started giving me the backrub I needed. Is there anything like this in Chicago? There is nothing like you in Chicago. That settled me down for a while. Two weeks we sat under the stars, Or giggling under the covers, Cuddling naked, falling asleep Skin to skin to naked souls. We said goodbye, without crying. I knew I'd never see you again. But I will always remember The toothpaste hugs, And the way you loved To make me laugh So hard until you had to kiss me To make me stop. Zoot and Corky are Making love in parallel universes now. Anamnesis for my skeletons. Dear Mo, (Later) when I told my friends about you, This is how they reacted: No Sex? Cuddling naked without sex? They never did believe me.

people are strange, submissive dominant sex is the rave of the future, because it was the rave of the past. tension builds and creates. where's the backstory here? gone. leaving the reader with an empty space to fill using their own imaginations. that can be good and bad que no. a good spanking and dinner on the floor does loads for a struggling relationship..well, much more than an overpaid JEW shrink none the less. nice poem.
