"and 'moon turns to rust' doesn't seem to mean anything."
NO, I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT THAT MEANS. COULD IT PERHAPS MEAN THAT THE "SILVER"-COLOURED MOON CHANGES ITS COLOUR TO "RUST"-COLOURED? I REALISE THAT INTERPRETATION IS A BIT TOO STRAIGHTFORWARD FOR THE TASTES OF REFINED POETES BUT SOMETIMES THERE'S JUST NO WAY TO POINTLESSLY OBSCURE THE MEANING.

When you say that when the pink panther theme is playing it seems like you're saying it in the clouseau voice and it sounds really great.

WAYS TO SPICE UP YOUR LIFE

Play the theme music from 'The Pink Panther' while searching for your keys or wallet. It will make the hunt tremendously exciting, and you will not mind if you miss your train or have to go to work nude.

The intended lines were actually "He waxes them with Sealing-waxe/Lest they become unglued", but due to a clerical error the old version was posted.

You just never stop writing, do you? Do you think that constant, unchecked writing is a sign of a) immense creativity b) a wild, untamed spirit c) being full to bursting with fresh, challenging ideas?
(I love it when he starts a b cing don't you?)
I haven't had a new idea in about 8 months. And the ones from 8 months ago were really just recycled from a year before that. And they were mostly stolen from TV.

Re: How Strange by T. Becquerel |

Yes and don't you also find it strange that whilst we chant in pious tones of charity and goodwill to all men, our reaction to the common beggar in the street is always to tread on his bollocks and vomit on his face. There's so much hypocrisy in western society that I sometimes feel like trampling a beggar's bollocks and vomitting on his face. Then maybe things would change. But not until we do something about Palestine. I'm all for an independant Palestinian state IN PRINCIPLE, but is that really the correct spelling of Palestinian? Yes. It is.

Re: a comment on The Nude by -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. |

It is a total waste of time talking to you. You are so cosmically stupid that you can't understand an idea unless it fermented in your mind, and when you do come up with an idea you're convinced it's an original, beautiful, deeply true idea, and you refuse to let it go or accept that anyone else has ever come up with the idea before or that it has any flaws.
There is nothing 'deeper' 'behind' this poeme. If you can't grasp the complete substance of it in one or two readings, you are a dunce, and if you try to reassure yourself by imagining there is something deeper behind it, you are three times the dunce.
You have had ample time to get the point of -=Dark_Angel=-. You haven't got it. You plainly aren't going to get it. You are just embarrassing yourself by publicly announcing your thoughts on -=Dark_Angel=- and his poemes. It is in your interest to let go and find a hobby that isn't so badly beyond you. Furthermore, you are a cad. Good day to you, Sir.

Re: Morman On A Bike by Blindproject217 |
3-Apr-03/5:39 AM |
At the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, England, I have been accosted by mormons in black suits and ties on no fewer than six separate occasions. They also wore black trench coats and had immaculate side partings. I once asked one of them why they wore such clothes, because a number of my colleagues had voiced concerns that they looked rather like agents of the gestapo. Their response was that the Holy Spirit is clean so one should always try to maintain a state of cleanliness when doing the Lord's work. At which point, I pointed to the Mormon's shoe and offered him a moist tow'lette. He looked down and to his horror discovered that he had been standing in the bountiful remains of an upturned nappy throughout the entire conversation.
Not really. That last bit was a lie. But that would have been pretty damn smooth, don't you think?

Suppose for a minute that you do believe in Christianity, but that it is, in fact, a load of old cobblers. Describe an event that, if it took place, would, in your opinion, "let you down" as regards your belief in Christianity, thereby resulting in you renouncing your beliefs.

Yeah well maybe if you were disabled you'd care a little more about the war, though frankly I doubt it. Webster's dictionary, in partnership with the federal chamber of commerce, defines a disabled as "that which requires an artificial harness with which to hoist itself upon things with". Given such a definition, I fail to see how your being disabled would have any bearing whatsoever on your opinions concerning the war.

All your problems would be solved if you just realised that Christianity is a complete load of bollocks. There is no reason for you to continue to struggle to live up to an ancient text that is not only contradictory, but also reads like the ramblings of a drunk horse.
Homosexuals aren't bad because it says so in the Bible. They're bad because they're gay. The sooner you come to terms with that little revelation, the better it'll be for all concerned.
