I'd like it better with good punctuation and complete sentences and line breaks at meaningful locations. As is, you can know if a man's a guitar player by feeling the tips of his fingers on the left hand. And I can see from the last lines you're angry. But I think it would be stronger with fewer words.

You have totally changed the poem and called it an edit. I think it's better to post a new poem.
Anyway, this depends on a reader's knowledge of allusions. Maybe it means something to someone else.

Fair comment. I ammended the last verse as I felt it may cause unintentional offence, hence(edit) Thanx for the imput.

"idiot" in the title detracts. Line 2 could be left out without loss.

illution - us a spell checker.
I think the voice of the first verse could be carried through to greater effect. Toward the end it get whiney and loses impact.

Surely you have seen enjoyment in a cowâs face while eating; I mean while the cow was eating. So the anthropomorphosis problem is not in the pleasure of eating, but in relating the pleasure to ancestors who made eating possible. If I were to fancy that kind of thinking in a gazelle or lion, for example, how is that more plausible than a nose-ringed bull? Anyway, the analogy to human thinking is what Iâm aiming for, as you knowâthe way I sometimes feel grateful for the courting and sex that make this hamburger enjoyable.
Maybe Iâll go at it from another angle.

We'd love to have our best work come out everytime we put pen to paper, but that is unfortunately not so.
I maintain some delusions or pretensions of being published during my lifetime, so I hold back on posting anything until I have some measure of objectivity. Book and magazine publishers want rights of first publication if they are going to pay for a piece. Those rights aren't available if you've published the material in any manner, including self-publishing or posting on the Internet.
Some people are prolific or polished enough that they could spew forth professional verse on a continuous basis. I'm not like that. I rely heavily on a system of constant revision to get the layers of flavor that I want into a poem. Like an accomplished chef, I might invite the opinions of others when working on an appetizer or a soup, but a new desert or entree will not see the light of day until it meets my demanding specifications.
My B material is "vestigial, workable." When it comes to my A material, I'm rather intransigent.

I don't know D, I'm having trouble with the whole cow thing with the visibly enjoying the grazing to the running and mating.
Now that you've gone through the trouble of showing me his enjoyment I can't seem to anthropromorphize him to a plausible degree.
I love cows, I think they are cool and have a personality - but - I don't know. Another animal maybe?
Incidently I found out today why they put rings on cow's noses. The other reason.

Shut up Blue Magpie, do relish techinical detail if so you miss the point of poetry. Imagine your take on the work of Wordsworth:
"I wandered lonely as a cloud"
Actually, clouds can't be lonely as they are formed of water vapour and don't have feelings, and often clouds appear in groups known as "fronts" so even if they did have feelings, which they don't, then they would not actually be lonely.
you birk.
