All in Love (Limerick) by gothiclovepoetiss All I need is you,
your touch is amazing.
Your care takes away the blue,
your perfect brown eyes are breath taking.
The look you give me is true in love,
ever since I met you Iâve been happy.
I know that we are a match made from up above,
this feeling tells me youâre my one and only.
You are my, no way else to say, everything,
my heart and mind finally agree.
And I canât help to follow this feeling,
I love everything about you down to degree.
Your laugh is addictive,
when we joke around it makes me smile.
Everything about you is attractive,
to see you I would walk mile after mile.
Just to see your beautiful face,
unto mine I wish to embrace.
And your ever loving grace,
this feeling I have I cannot erase.
Nor would I want to,
because our love is really true.
So is everything you say and do,
all you need to remember is that all I need is you.

Trite in places with a couple forced rhymes, but overall very expressive. I probably shouldn't have rated this since I tend to be a little harsh on love poems.

What about air? Food, water? Toiletpaper, clean bedclothes, dental care, money to pay the rent? If you are all HE needs he'll take care of that, of course. True love is a fallacy. And usually the gilding rubs away rather quick. But perhaps I'm a grouch. You know, the kind that spoils teenage parties. I know everyone has to start sometime and somewhere, but I so hate the mentality behind poems like this one. Your marital life is going to be a huge bore, sweetie. Like millions of others.
