Dear Scarlet, It is nice to see someone is reading stuff that isn't in the 'Recent' list. If anyone wanted to see the the mildly edited version of this that it ended up as it was recently published in the 2005/2006 edition of The Eclectic Muse.

Hmm... someone sounds pretty bitter. I'm not feeling what you're saying, but you do get your point across OK. This sounds like something that can be used in some sort of song. Also, this is not a sestina.

I should have read the other comments before I made mine, never mind.

Line 2 the word 'so' before intrigued would make the following line grammatically correct. I take a good look at his attire. Dressed like another other guy, Blue jeans, T-shirt, track shoes. This should not be indented and it should say 'like any other guy' I’m a new person inspired by There needs to be a comma between person and inspired. This is nicely done, I am sure you could get published in a religiously oriented magazine if you tried. However to my mind it is not a poem.

Neat idea.

I was entertained, Betty. I've been thinking of calling you Betty, I've been thinking that I could call you Betty and Betty when you call me, you can call me Al.

I'd say you've quite a few pieces better than this. In my opinion, this ain't very impressive. I wish I could pin point.

Magnifico! I love this. Ahaha. *sigh* *10*
Re: Rambling by terbenaw MacFrantic 172.184.226.227 26-Feb-06/11:13 AM
This is actually pretty good. It's a lot better than it should be. *9*

Just trying out a different style. Thanks for the review.
Re: Desperate Revival by Silverjackel MacFrantic 172.184.226.227 26-Feb-06/11:10 AM
This is really pretty ugly. You need to stop using a dictionary, and if you are not, learn to simplify your language and still convey the same message. You conflate garbage words like "mope" with a misplace "inaugurate". *5*
Re: Moonlit Glare by Silverjackel MacFrantic 172.184.226.227 26-Feb-06/11:06 AM
Quaint and lovely. *8*
Re: Today's Spam by nentwined MacFrantic 172.184.226.227 26-Feb-06/11:03 AM
Not the best, but entertaining. *7*
Re: My Shattered Love by Silverjackel MacFrantic 172.184.226.227 26-Feb-06/11:01 AM
I just don't know, this is better than your other post, but the adj's seem extremely forced and the scheme is too formulaic. It makes you isolate and search for rhyme. *6*
Re: Into the Shadows I Crawl by Silverjackel MacFrantic 172.184.226.227 26-Feb-06/10:58 AM
Nothing particularly intriguing about this. Very mediocre. *6*

This is okay, a bit roundabout, I liked the Love of God theme and the ending. Could've been better *7*
Re: Buried in the Booth (edit) by drnick amanda_dcosta 203.145.159.37 26-Feb-06/10:37 AM
I'd say that this was a good write. Sometimes a writer finds it hard to put into word what he has in mind, but I think you did a pretty good job at this. Like Dovina said, a bit of less description would make it better. Good work!
Re: a comment on An Interview With King David by amanda_dcosta amanda_dcosta 203.145.159.37 26-Feb-06/10:25 AM
Sorry! Line 12 is supposed to read 'dressed like any other guy'.
