Re: a comment on Obituary for the Moon by wilco 9-May-04/5:21 PM
Thanks, H. I'm not exactly sure where all this talk of liquor came from because this song doesn't mention it and it's not about the bar scene...but I do like bars and liquor quite a lot so I'll let it slide. ;0)

Hence the little word "Lyric" next to the title.

For future reference, you can just say 'gin and tonic'. Adding the water to the end just makes you sound like a pretentious asshole.

I'm curious as to why someone would log in under 3 different user names just to give this three fives. Can you really hate something that badly as to want to waste that much time? or maybe you are three different people who live together. Either way, it's cool...I was just wondering.

Re: a comment on To Who Ever Wrote That Roller Coaster Poem... by Fear of Garbage 7-May-04/3:29 PM
You know, you really should write something good yourself before you go around making smart ass comments on peoples' poems.
Re: a comment on The Influence of Anxiety by Nicholas Jones 7-May-04/11:54 AM
Never said it wasn't poetry. I just agreed with the above comment that it's an essay. It's very well done, and if you notice, I gave you a 9. Poetry is an abstract thing and stating that it's an essay is just breaking it down into a smaller category. I never claim to know "what poetry is", which you could surely tell by reading some of the crap that I have written. I apoligize if you took my comment as an insult.

Obviously Mitch wasn't in Cedar Grove, TN for the 'Great Frog Attack of '76'.

I know what you're saying but please see the above (and ongoing) exchange between Shuushin and myself.
Re: a comment on American Idle by wilco 5-May-04/2:02 PM
Depends on waht you expect to accomplish with your writing. If you don't care if anyone enjoys it and simply want to create art, then I think it's ok. But then you go back to the aforementioned question of "why do it at all if no one wants to read it". In other words, I don't know. I just write 'em and hope that SOMEBODY likes 'em while still letting me say what I want to say.
