Hey, nothing wrong with that. I do my best writing drunk.

You know, and this is just me...but I think if you're going to give somebody a 0, the least you can do is leave a comment giving a reason.

Re: Now That's What I Call Music Vol. 1,087 by Nicholas Jones 9-Jun-04/8:35 PM
I get what you're trying to convey, but its not worded in a manner that gives me wood.
Re: a comment on Suicide Girl by wilco 8-Jun-04/4:56 PM
That wasn't really what I was going for, but thanks.
Re: a comment on Doesn't Hurt Me by Miggy 8-Jun-04/4:22 PM
It was a joke. Some people have this strange idea that you can "win" Poemranker I guess by having the best average.

I've never had any problem with Shardik, Horus8, etc. doing it, but Miggy/Razor/Yawman logged in 4 times under 4 different names (and anonymous) to give my "Suicide Girl" a bunch of 5s.

Anyway, it doesn't matter...just kinda funny to me that someone would waste time to do that.
Re: a comment on Doesn't Hurt Me by Miggy 8-Jun-04/4:07 PM
Now see here Sliver...how can Miggy be expected to 'win' poemranker if he gives you 8s, 9s and 10s? He can't!

Incidentally, I bet if you look at your voting details and see the ones that Miggy gave you a 0 on, you'll notice that Razor and Yawnman also gave them a 0. Now look at the IPS of Miggy, Razor and Yawnman...awful peculiar.

Re: Isn't it a wonder by caitydee 8-Jun-04/3:03 PM
I've always kind of been of the idea that those signs were more of a PR move than actually caring that the president died. I like this idea better though.
Re: a comment on Decks of Cards (So Long to the City) by wilco 7-Jun-04/9:04 PM
...and actually, the best current country band in America is the Jayhawks.
Re: a comment on Writers' Block by wilco 7-Jun-04/8:33 PM
That is zee point, my friend.
Re: A life unsure by sliver 7-Jun-04/8:32 PM
Personally, I like this a lot better now. Sounds kind of like a Phish song.
Re: a comment on Decks of Cards (So Long to the City) by wilco 7-Jun-04/5:24 PM
I don't know if Wilco can really be classified as country these days. Perhaps during the "A.M." and "Being There" days...now, not so much. The new album, " A Ghost is Born", really doesn't sound country at all.

They are, however, currently one of the best bands in America.
Re: a comment on wibble wibble honk by pain killer 7-Jun-04/3:45 PM
nope.
Re: a comment on Decks of Cards (So Long to the City) by wilco 7-Jun-04/3:41 PM
Creedence Clearwater Revival...but I think that was more Rock than country...anyway, The Stones were good back in the day but have pretty much just become a parody of themselves. I'm a big fan of classic rock myself. I love The Dead, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, Zeppelin, etc..
Re: a comment on Le Sommeil- Slumber by Sasha 7-Jun-04/3:27 PM
nevermind..I see.

I think its good, and does have kind of a classic feel.

Incidentally, I'd rather see more like this than translations. But thats just me.
Re: Le Sommeil- Slumber by Sasha 7-Jun-04/3:24 PM
another translation?
