I like most of it, but there are a couple parts that I didn't feel completely struck by.
This one being my favorite part...
Stretch limbing dusks' arc
The red under your bark
And how you left your mark
On me, never the seasons...

I like the line breaks better. But dramatic line breaks, do not a poem make.

Crystal, I can't ever tell if you're trying to be witty or facitious. I think you should stick to your cute little comments either way. Anything else is short of your strengths and probably motivated by the energy of the regulars on this site. Don't let them infect you darlin. ;-)

And there was a lot more to it than Heston's "Liking guns." He's the president of the NRA.

Yes, Marilyn started the idea about advertising projecting fear to incourage consumption. The Heston bit was pretty damn funny, if you ask me. On the DVD set Michael tells you that Heston's people wouldn't let him off of the property, so he threw the film over the gate to his driver. Pretty funny stuff.

your phrase just reminded me of something I heard one time that I thought was an interesting phrase. So I posted it. No connection really.

Why are you commenting on Horus8s poem as if it were your own? Are you using multiple user names? Why is that?

I like the message in this poem. I think you could work the lyric into something more fluid, but I like the core of it.

I agree with Tad. What is it called when you use one thing to discribe another? Like a poem that speaks of hot rods, but it's really refering to something sexual?

Revy, you'll quickly find that there are far too many elderly tards on this site with many a pompous point of worthless view. With an aptitude for virtual bullying where they otherwise fail in the real world. Don't mind them; they are but pimples on a limp dick.
