Is that a good thing of a bad thing? I'd think it was a good thing gone bad. Solid gravy that is.

Thanks for the words. I should have picked something else to write about. I've just had other things on my mind lately and can't think to write anything worth while. Thinking yourself unhuman gets old. I just noticed I hadn't posted anything in about a week was time to fix that problem. But again thanks don.

I think I agree with the departed... seems to fit a little better than passed.

Thank you for the vote and the comment. I'll try to find a little bit of time to attempt to make it flow. Sometime tomorrow I'm sure I'll give it a look over. Thanks for the ideas. They should be useful I see the lack of flow.

I enjoyed the poem. I think line one needs to be tweeked a little or what was the purpose of it? "you are dreamer" I almost didn't read on due to that being the first line. I just see my four year old neise saying that to me.

C notes don't go on single games here. I'm not that stupid anyone can win one game. But ta-won spots go on single games (twenty) mini of 5 games. C notes go on races typically to 10 with weight. Play eight or nine ball? Ring nine and three ball are big gambling games around here. Three ball is a joke, break as hard as you can a little off from head ball drop one or two every time...easy money.

Congrats hun. Na poemranker isn't getting me down. I've just had a lack of things to write about. Bad choice of words, you know how I never have a lack to write about. Just all the good stuff hits me at bad times. I don't get the few starting lines wrote down. Then when I have a chance to finally write something down I've forgot them and can't remember them for the life of me. So I just wrote...something...

I know you vote on everything and I thank you for that. The comment isn't all important ALL the time. But most of us are here to share and get better. Hard to do that without comments saying whats wrong with the work.

I like it. It really made me think. Took me in, put me there. I saw the images, feel the feelings. Keep up the good work.
I'd give more than 10 if I could.

Re: If I Wrote The Perfect Poem by toward |

in the meantime
I'll keep typing
to amuse myself
and unload some baggage
maybe I'll stumble over perfection on the way
****************
That sums up what I've been reading in editors notes lately. A lot of editors say that poetry is getting longer and dragging on with everyone typing this day and age. Its just so easy for them to keep typing and typing I've found it to be true. Its all to easy to just keep going. It was never like that when I was hand writing everything.
I believe the poem would say as much if not more taking the lines from above totally out of it. Or maybe...
In the meantime
I'll keep working towards perfection,
Perhaps stumble upon it along the way.

Re: a comment on Lets Do Lunch (At Ground Zero) by scitz |

Maybe I said what I said wrong. I'm always trying to see everyones point of view. But... (Isn't there always a but) when I sit down to write sometimes I am just writing for myself. Trying to write and get in touch with myself, take away my thoughts and habbits derived from other people and be only my natural self. When I sat to write a poem on 9/11 I wanted to have one of those times. Where I was only writing for myself no one else. I lost a loved one and I wanted the poem to be for me... and her since she would be able to see it from above no others. But it didn't turn out that way I started thinking, and seeing with everyone elses eyes and wrote for everyone else. Make sense more now?

I wrote one about 9/11 too does that make me a cad as well?
Wanted to write it about the loved one I lost, but the words just wouldn't come. I wouldn't allow myself to be greedy and see only with my eyes saying mememe. So I had to try to see from everyones eyes on the event. Not an easy thing to do and I likely pissed the whole poem down my leg.
