Also, I am shockingly appalled by your choice of name for the protagonist. It is, according to an obscene pamphlet I distribute, one of the ten hallmarks of a truly mediocre and talentless writer to choose a special, magical, mysterious name like 'Xochiel' for their protagonist.
God I want to punch you in the face when I read this.

Re: Fridge by Birdpia |
11-Sep-03/4:45 PM |
Ten things about this poeme that make it the most bland and mediocre thing I have ever read:
1. The constant use of two thirds of an ellipsis.
2. Typographical errors.
3. Reference to an obscene sex dream.
4. Mismatched and overwrought metaphor.
5. Contains a fridge but no ham.
6. The worst possible sort of tedious self-obsession.
7. An unimaginative and frankly insensitive title.
8. Hypocritical overuse of prepositions.
9. The category is 'Free verse'.
10. You're wrong, and you're a grotesquely ugly freak.
Thanks.

I find it hauntingly poignant that you chose to post this on September 11th, the very day on which the Events of September 11th took place. 10.

"Desires within me leave a deep and open chasm,
Your fist against my face causes me to spasm,"
Genuinely the best rhyme I have ever read in my entire life.

When is the funeral?

Why not write a poeme that isn't based around some imaginary magical tie that you, as a woman, have with the universe?

You are sullying Settle's good name and violating the Poemeranker Club Code of Conduct.
Answer these questions:
a) Is Settle actually dead, to the best of your knowledge?
b) If so, why would his mother have called you, someone she barely if at all knows, to tell you he was dead on the very same day it happened?
c) Why would Settle have chosen such a melodramatic and unreliable suicide method as hanging?
d) What art school in Rhode Island did he go to?
e) You mentioned before that you 'had him over for dinner'. He lives in Rhode Island. You live in California. You don't just pop over a continent for dinner. What actually happened?
f) Why do you have what seems to be one of his school essays, and why are you posting it here?

You may be the darkest angel. I claim no such distinction.
I am, however, the -=Darkest_ Angel=-.

I can really relate to this. My personal handler frequently touches me in unutterably awful ways, but I am helpless to do anything but electronically moan from my stinking wheelchair. -=10=-
