That's very nice. But where on EARTH did you get the idea that we're a group of psychologists? Or that even thoguh we're not psychologists, we would care?

Well, it IS the closest thing to a not bad poeme written about that day I've yet read. Loose the angels and Osama's beard. 'Buried alive in mortar cots of crimson' is good, but how can it qualify as a 'slaughter' of innocent children when so few were killed?

Somebody's been watching a bit too much porn. 'Unscathed boudoir' is dreadfully out of place.

Last two stanzas are good. The first two, as I believe you've doubtless realised, are shite.

Amusing, but I confess myself a tad dissapointing that's it's not the spoof of the old hippy song the title leads one to expect. You know -- 'Where have all the poets gone, long time passing, Where have all the poets gone, long times ago?...'

This is without a doubt the most appalling piece of crap I've seen on this site since... since...
Well, since Tuesday, I guess. No, more like Wednesday.

Hmmm. I never thought I'd end up using this comment on someone, but it seems to be trying too hard. Lovely, though.

That's really quite gorgeous. Or maybe it's jsut that I'm a sucker for that sort of story. Saying that something isn't a poem because it's a story is ridiculous -- among other things, it means that the Divine Comedy isn't poetry. And you use archaic words, which is also good. Full cheers, dammit.

Dammit, that title. Argh. That would make such a wonderful stretto. And I can't use it because I'd be stealing it. Erg.
Oh, and tell Limonade I'm sorry about the hamster. Really I am.

Oh, this lovely thing again. For some reason whenever you post a revised version of a poem I almost always feel I preferred the original. In this case, the 'Rosebud roseblood rosewater' -- which is damn right gorgeous. Has that part changed since you put it up?

The end of civilisation is nigh. I name you the prophet of this death. May Shakespeare have mercy on us when he, Marlowe, Poe and Nabokov are resurrected and come to judge us all. I'd almost prefer to go read some Atwood. Or Joe Blades. Or some such shite.
