Re: Dovina & Co by amanda_dcosta Edna Sweetlove 85.210.203.196 8-Nov-06/1:07 PM
There seems to be some friendly badinage I am missing out on here. The poem is crap.

I have been to the baths at Lucca. They were out of soap at the time so I had to make do with a tinkle.

The poem works for me except for "tiger's mouth"--I think with your talent you could find a better simile. Good work overall though--as usual.

No. It's just rhymed spontaneously, as is Montale's fashion.

Hi everyone. Sorry for the silence, but I'm back now. Hope to see you all more often.

I'll trust you to have got the translation right. Is this a form of sonnet?
Re: So Easy by InWonderLand Sasha 128.135.197.7 5-Nov-06/8:07 PM
This poem doesen't hold any water. I have nothing to sink my teeth into; only a dim, colorless confessional atmosphere that is totally out of place. Give me some life!

Where is that old cuss? We used to have such sweet walks in the glimmers of moonlight, reflected in ripples on the pools of dog piss. From Edna, all I see is dog piss.

Thanks. To be honest, I absolutely hate this song now. I'm not sure if I think it sucks r if I'm just tired of it at this point but I do...I really do.

I'm sure we will if we can get ourselves signed. If not, there's probably not much hope of it. Spread the word so we can make it happen.
