Dovina & Co (Free verse) by amanda_dcosta Once famous, but now alone
none to warm its heart
waits, watches
maybe a soul or two
pass along its way,
drops in a word of cheer
or disgust
or of love
or enmity.
Desperation in its eyes,
one soul, loyal, true
pulls it out of its pit
stands by it, come what may
faces the test of time.
It will survive for sure
for they have a bond none can deny.

The holiday was a good break and a great month. Family reunion after three years is a big blessing. Had a whale of a time, thank you. And, how are you?

Not so bad, thanks. It's essay time again which means that theoretically I'm in every night working hard (hahaha). I'm going to have to decide what to do next year pretty soon though...

There seems to be some friendly badinage I am missing out on here.
The poem is crap.
If a Company can have a heart, then its eyes can have despair, and you can look there and say, "It will survive." Some eyes have faith, others hope, others love. And you know which is greatest.
