Re: a comment on Grind by INTRANSIT 25-Nov-03/2:02 PM
Ofcourse it is! with imagination? its up to the minds delight.
Sadly though, not many will actually go through the trouble to unravel a poem- its amazing how many people get turned off when they might need to jolt up the noggen.

In the end though, I feel a poem that has room for movement and is flexible in meaning and thought lives longer: theres room for it to evolve on its own.

Re: a comment on Grind by INTRANSIT 25-Nov-03/12:03 PM
Well.. yes, because theres a sickness with a good amount of readers- they think we have to imagine for them. (or be clear spoken and snub out the element of mystery.)

Its ok man, I'm on your side- everyones yammered at me for being "cryptic". Oh, and heres a ten.

I said the same thing when I was thirteen? And realized that it's much more complicated than that.

Isolation didn't make me happy. Leaving my house and strolling in san fran for 5 days did wonders though.

Blessed with seven.

Yeah, but now I'm worried about the tips I'll give her. Usually no one pays attention my advice... You'll make sure to squash me when my advice is shit right?- Insurance for free?

Re: a comment on Mecca was mud in my backyard by Y2kSlamPoet 24-Nov-03/2:28 PM
My friend, it has been a long journey through words.

I've assumed many forms and views, staggered in the mud, strayed from my preconceptions, etc- while getting to know my strengths/flaws.

I've become confident of my abilities after being beaten & chastised to the max, even now- but honestly? I hope folks keep pounding the wooden hammer, wouldn't feel right otherwise.

Being told that I've become a good writer? Well, feels wierd- can't complain though, and DA will make sure it doesn't get to my head.

But group hugs must go- much too disturbing for my senses. ;]
Re: The drug prayer by Nitroxide 23-Nov-03/4:02 PM
micro sized version of poem:

Ive been a stoned fool
for six years
and counting

Hooked, a goner
with a pen- but
smugly famous
after ultra-od
and my poetry discoverd
under the porch by my lucky joint.

Lets just say: If eminem heard me on a mic, he would shoot himself for being white. Plus I can't even strum a guitar.. well, could with one of those Hawaiian mini-ones maybe..

Your mom isn't as evil as mine. YOU NEED TO CRANK THE EVIL SORDID GOO INTO YOUR MOTHER! lol, but you'd regret it.
Re: a comment on Murder means oil for Bush's coffer by DreamerSupreme 23-Nov-03/11:17 AM
Caducus was who got my brain crankin on war damnit! Send that cursed angel to him- had more than my fair share of time dabbling with that evil feathered foe of mine.

Plus anyway... I've heard him say pretentious and "dunce/dim-wit/retard" enough times to predict the gist of what he'll say.. usually.
Re: A "sirius"makeover by The_Third_Isis 23-Nov-03/7:01 AM
looks like your family has a potent poet gene. Overall, blessed with eight.
Re: a comment on Islands Of Our King by Caducus 23-Nov-03/5:58 AM
Ah, I see- wars always sick, screwed, and almost never proceeds as planned.

Your guaranteed to return as one form of energy or another. Heard the buzz is quite soothing- but I haven't travelled that far down the NDE highway, yet.. won't be soon, if im lucky.

But castles? -shrug- (Personaly, the bigman should upgrade to an Elysian Hilton.. toiletry in a keep is quite bad- stinks.)
Re: a comment on The Poemranker Poe-lease by Jeremi B. Handrinos 15-Nov-03/3:33 PM
well, no- he really must hammer his point into peoples skulls, 900 zeros? can you seriously not understand his distress?

the poem? it was funny- sarcasm and mock adherence to conformity, etc. 10!!!

I also support abortion and suicide clinics. Among other things. Im evil. Or thats what I've been told.
Re: a comment on Gen. Rockman & his dirt encrusted clicker brigade by Y2kSlamPoet 15-Nov-03/3:20 PM
Well.. I didn't accuse- horus did?

But its good you admit your shame.
Re: a comment on Gen. Rockman & his dirt encrusted clicker brigade by Y2kSlamPoet 15-Nov-03/3:18 PM
DA was the inspiration for Y2k's identity- the wigger thing, and yo yo doOOD.

But anyway, my alter ego aside: 18- a thing against authority in general, and a wonderful obsession with being an underdog.

No "homies"- a few trusted friends though, that i can count on-
and a huge book collection, left to me from my father, along with other things. Oh? And MPD. well, not really- since i control which face I'll be using from time to time.

Re: a comment on Rockmage, I was going to pay him... by <{Baba^Yaga}> 14-Nov-03/10:49 PM
I don't find it amusing.

But 900 zeros? Thats insane- rockmage must lack a life,
because that certainly requires intense concentrated clicking power to push 900 zeros on your work.

What did you do to piss him off that much? just wondering.
Re: Good Riddance by dragonfly 14-Nov-03/9:57 PM
well, heres a 7.
Re: Rockmage, I was going to pay him... by <{Baba^Yaga}> 14-Nov-03/9:44 PM
look at dreamersupreme- none of my poems on him have a score higher than 5 (cept maybe one, or two)
shit happens? nutcrunch time?

(and what about that lump of coal? maybe im being paranoid)
