That was insane.
Re: My word, her word, and yours by thepinkbunnyofdoom 23-Feb-05/7:51 PM
A sense of "doom" here. I like that. Our words mean everything, especially "mine". Paint it black and "red", and add a bunny with a snake body.
Re: a comment on Lets recreate hell real properly by Crakyamuni 17-Feb-05/6:11 PM
I think your right. The middle is contrived. thanks.
Re: a comment on Prayer of Forgiveness by Dovina 11-Feb-05/12:45 PM
Yes I see now! Thankyou for the vision. I'm 8ing you for that.
It is a prayer!
Re: a comment on Prayer of Forgiveness by Dovina 11-Feb-05/10:52 AM
and if I'm totally off on my assumption about your subject, tell me why.

Gracias, bonita
Re: Prayer of Forgiveness by Dovina 11-Feb-05/10:51 AM
It's interesting enough to get a 7, but it's without the point of intensity, I think, underlying this beautiful subject. Is it about a (forgive this term) Conversation with God.
I created a more juvenile counterpart to this poem a few ago titled " An intolerable rash brother". I too have my bones to pick with the great "You". So I've canvased the world.
Vote on the poem I mentioned o' mine, comment on it, drain it of extraneous blabbery, pick it asunder, and get back to me. I want and value your opinion.

An average but drowsy diary entry might be better recieved from your Grandmother. I like nostalgia, it places us in the present, but this is not a poem.
Re: Paris 1941-63 by Mister Cakes 8-Feb-05/12:03 PM
"Got more soul than a sock with a hole." Doom.
Re: Paris 1941-63 by Mister Cakes 8-Feb-05/12:01 PM
I'm not sure about the reference to the time period, but I think socks have sentimental value for poets.

tuh.
Re: Nicholas Martin's last great paper by Bachus 6-Feb-05/3:00 PM

All this seems a little "unsettling"

as do most beautiful things.
Re: Pictures of June by wilco 3-Feb-05/4:48 PM

Illustrated passion spreads like new disease

A nice ring to that, and as a whole it's working.

Not trying doesn't mean being incapable of success.

In any case I appreciate the comment.

Re: 32 Truths and 1 Lie by wilco 2-Feb-05/4:24 PM
Right now the telephone is the heaviest object on Earth.

Goddamn man. You have mentioned at least a dozen truths from my book. After the comment you made I had a sense you were good. Genuine in your condition.

Keep this love alive.

wilco- A phenomenal band.

I've now completely eliminated all traces of the O.G. S.o.S.
due to my own distaste for it. It was about despair, obvious, maybe, but I'm in some straits right now. I feel bound to this dilemma, but crippled, without any options except blind denial.
This vent tent revision is a return to a sort of stream of thought structure, which is very loose and sometimes confusing, but not contrived. I find this process can help me create something temporary but stable(like a tent),and it's rather therapeutic.
I'm not seeking kudos here, or trying to contend with the prophets, but life's frustrations need an apparatus. I'm drawing with words. I'm a visual artist by blood, and a non practicing catholic in recovery, as well as an admirer of poets.

You write with an honest tone in your comment, thats so rare, Thankyou.

I revised that crappiness. I'm completely ready for all negative stabs and jabs. Bring the pain.

It did. I'm sorry for the limp lashing I did this a.m. I doubt it phased you, and yet it was unbecoming.

I've got things. Not your problem though.

I enjoy your work, and I guess thats why it was petty to be as insulting as I was. I got defensive.

Apologies.

Also, where did you find that high horse? It seems you can only spit worthless slander. You haven't posted up, but you still whip out the old drowsy one liners.

Make something. Then come back with malice.
