No, because she is a self-controlled person who holds her rage. I am not so self-controlled.

Whats with the boats, and water stuff? Television is taking over your minds. Mankinds number one poison, TV. I'm affected, goddamn I'm affected.

It's interesting to see natures reactions to our debauchery. The image of the wolves retaking the land strikes very poignantly, check out my edit of modern death. It's been changed quite a bit.

Thanks. It's interesting to see , at least in my perception, a parralell to your last submission, "Scout", in this piece o mine. Perhaps New Orleans really has effected us all, no doubt in me. Your comments are always appreciated, I respect your work. I'm not certain what this needs, outside of the obvious hack lines, which scream out in pain. I know nothing of poems, many will agree.

Did the undertow tow him to somewhere beneath the undertow? How odd. How?

i think it's lovely the way it is, though...

If I had nothing to judge a person's personality by except this poem, and were forced at gunpoint to say whether I thought this person were insane or not, I'd say insane. Definitely insane.

Really? Amazon.com returns 213 results, including versions by Rod Stewart, Dave Brubeck, Willie Nelson, and a man named Hoagy Carmichael.

No. The amount that she disapproves doesn't appear to necessitate raging. At least, not if you assume she isn't raging. Maybe you don't, but then the poem just kind of evaporates, doesn't it?

Oh. Remind me again, what's this conversation about?

It is, just in a language yet to be created.

Hmm, I hate cats too but I don't know if I'd go that far..still a good poem though.

Presuming that this is addressed to a lady, there are a couple of other sets of lips he could be writing about...
Re: Baudelaire: The Albatross by Sasha Tintagiles 142.166.234.130 7-Sep-05/8:13 PM
For a translation insisting to rhyme, this is very good. One small wince is that in your version it sounds like it's only the crew of one ship that would do this, while in the original it's any old bunch of sailors.

Hee hee. That's lovely.

Ah. Right. Makes rather more sense thus.

A prose poem, I take it? A bit too prosy, even for that.

Could stand another take.
