Reminds me of that mathematican turned piano playing social commentator, Tom Lehrer, and his dastardly ditties such as "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" and "The Hunters Song", among many others.

"If not for you, the birds wouldn't sing" or some such; who wrote that song? I just luv this sort of poetry, hh. The well thought out, improvisational phrase flinging, clever variety sprinkled with words you have to go look up. Would "Let her bide" be better?

CD, I JUST got off the phone with a friend who advised me to treat mountain spring water with a drop of bleach, even after filtering it through a triple Pur filter. I'll show him this poem.

Ooh yeah, I like this, even if I don't understand it. The words 'Under Will' seem to make sense; but, not sure how 'love' figures in the poem.

I like it, Zzin. I was stuck at Timberline, WV, ski resort with 10 housemates; officially: 46 inches of snow in 3 1/2 days. I concur, cabin fever has no pity.

Hey, I'm in Centreville, VA, and am trying to understand your poem. Is it aimed at religious money raisers on TV? My least favorite religion is the Mormons, but they're outta Utah.

This is strong, and very timely, given our current state of international affairs. I want to read more of your work, bB.

I like it better than the previous one. 'pleased me..' is my favorite line. Good ale is an excellent social lubricant, especially Russian Imperial Stout.

Good topical, socio-political poem, Jrm. It matters not how ridiculous antiwar protesters look, I'm more interested in their collective perspective for America and the world than that of Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz.
