Outstanding! I still don't get whether it's about any specific person, or everybody in this world. I'm probably being really stupid in asking this, cause you probably answered it, but hey-I've never claimed to be clever!

zzinnia66, do you really read every poem on this site? Wow, that's dedication. I think I'll give this poem a 10, not only because it's good, but because I know what it's like to have twats vote low on my poems even though they deserve more. I know someone who anonymously voted 0 on this to get Dark Angel to the top. Should I hit him? (This person I know, not Dark Angel!!!)

zzinnia66-R.E. "I have read..."
Well, the poem in question is called 'The North Wind', in case that rings any bells (so to speak). I didn't feel that somebody voting it a two was such a crime (although in my opinion it's better than that-but then I'm biased), but the fact that there was no explanation as to why it warranted such a low mark. I, as opposed to some pranksters (Blade etc), put my poems on here because I'd like to know if they're any good. I wouldn't mind people giving me low marks, as long as they're justified (I hope this doesn't sound too whiny!)
Thanks for your concern, I did check your stats out-very impressive!

I'm confused. Is this a religious preacher poem, a third world preacher poem or a can't-be-arsed poem? Not bad, anyway.

I assume you're American? That would explain the spelling 'lackluster'. Over here it's 'lacklustre', but that doesn't matter. Good work, 7 or 8, can't decide...

Some of this is very good, some is less than...
The second to last stanza is good, as is "Fight with all might"
Maybe you could put a dragon in there, and some wizards too(!) Don't worry, I'm just off in a Tolkien world...

Rather good...'temple of beauty', fantastic...perhaps this could have been capitalised on, maybe references to ancient Greek gods and religions etc? It's an idea-the poem's great though, 9/10
