This is a good poem, I really did like it it's a sad poem...because the last line tells us that the person is gone....a lot more could be added to the poem emotionally if you worked on this one....but it is still very good....( I hope you didn' t mind me giving advise, not the best at it...)

This is great...this last Summer I actually saw an ice cream truck and his little bell was ringing lol I wanted to run after him....ahhh the good ole days....nothing will ever compare to them....definately this poem brought back memories so it is a 10....

This is a beautiful poem...I had lost my Father 12 years ago....not the same as a Mother's love....but it is a horrible loss just the same...my heart goes out to you and thank you for commenting on a couple of my poems ( and you are so right about the comments you left)

Short, sweet, sentimental...and I like that in a poem...I am not the best poet around, I just write what comes to mind....edit when I need to and delete too lol...it all comes with practice...not a one of us are perfect....poetry all means something different to each of us...and as far as rhyming goes, a poem doesn't always have to rhyme....
