Good, except this is probably the sixth poem called "Writer's Block" on this site. You're obviously not blocked, just need to focus each of these stanzas, perhaps, into a solid poem.

"So beautiful, that baffled moon
Who watched my gentle hands - quiet"
"Like lazy flies, a drunken waltz
A crooked hem, a button gone
And in the heavy candle glow
I stumble"
These are good.

Paradoxes are overrated. What's more, there are no real paradoxes in life, just people who are surprised when the cliches they live their lives by don't hold up. My favorite part of this is, "does why explains what?"
Yes, it do.

I looked at the clock in the faint moonlight
That shone
Through the partly open window.
It was way past twelve;
I scarcely could believe
I was in for hallucinations.
It beckoned me in firmer tones
To get down on my knees.
More out of fear not obedience
I gave in to its pleas.
I prayed five decades of the Holy Rosary
And then heard the voice again
âThere is someone out there who needs your prayers
And feels My peace flow in.â
It took me a while to go to sleep
Feelings of excitement and awe took hold of me.
Alas, the day went by and it was almost sunset.
I walked down the road and met up with an old friend.
I hadnât met her for a couple of years;
And while talking I casually asked her
âBy the way, when is your birthday?â
âItâs today!â she exclaimed! âWhy do you ask?â
âIâve had the most odd feeling
The whole night through
I felt that someone was praying for me.
And I sat up and prayed a whole Rosary.
All the weeks worry that burdened me
Seemed to vanish instantly.â
That's your poem, I think.

This is a real life experience, and I have been finding it difficult to explain it poetically. I have made an effort to convey this fantastic incident, and am sorry if it is a muddled piece. This incident took place on March 6th 2003 and I donât think I will ever forget the effect of prayer and doubt our calling to prayer either.

Yea I really dislike the MAA group( no offence to mother). But they are taking it a little too far renaming SPORTS teams things like cross stitch and sloth. Its like their goal is to baby their kids through life so they grow up gentle. What they don't take into consideration is that in doing that their children never have the chance to rise above, and that doing this creates generations of softcore pussies with "I am the center of the Universe" outlooks on life, never to be sucessful. Love the stories man, keep on truckin, it is nice to see that even though you are blind you have the desire to write.

Blind people have a special program that reads to them everything that is on the screen in an automated voice and their keyboards have brail on them.

I find it interesting that you have seen a baby weild an oozie firstly. Secondly that you are throwing blankets over babies faces. I could imagine no baby to like having a blanket over their face, they would probably all cry no matter the race. I admit the poem is not well written compared to others here, but I assure you that the message is accurate and it is quite sensible. But many people have their heads too far up their own asses to grasp that.

I read that in tests if you place a blanket over the face of a mongoloid baby it sits there placidly. If you put the blanket over the face of a caucasoid baby it gently stirs. If you put the blanket over the face of a negroid baby it throws the blanket off and shoots you with his oozie. I therefore conclude that your poem is factually inaccurate and written by a dimwit. :(
