Panic Slide (Free verse) by MacFrantic
Climb the stairs to the drop Quell your doubt at the top A panic slide you'll find Leaves those marks on your mind Where very long racing stripes Painted lines on the pipes The round metal rims glow In midday sun they show It takes years to begin Life moves fast once you're in Be careful to stay straight Sometimes rolling seems great If you tumble too quick You may find yourself sick When the light comes about You may have urge to shout The loud screams on the way Pierce loud darts through the day In hopeful returns climb Back up again in time The panic slide won't go It just makes panic grow And our growing fears flow

Up the ladder: Major
Down the ladder: A greater purpose?

Make some of these thoughts stretch across the couplets.

Cars?
I'm not too sure about 'very long racing stripes', the 'very long' is really simplistic compared to the rest of it.
Catchy though.
