As a former Steat Urchin and Art Student I am in a position to tell you that never have Neitzsche, Bacardi, placard and "hot summer waltzes" ever been combined in any medium. I am giving you a ten because the "rape teacher" poem really gives me perspective on this one.

precious, not too pretty...hmm...hard decision..pretty good....quite a cut above...yet it doesn't do much for me. Perhaps I should write a poem about how I feel.

10 for sincerity and craft, -1 because it isn't terribly novel, overall quite good. Genuine sentiment of this sort is very rare here.

While I'm sure you found this cathartic, those of us considerate enough to read the damned thing are stupider for having done so and I hardly think that's fair.

The world's natural resources will be gone within your lifetime. There will be wars over water supplies and food. Slaughter and poverty will triumph on a scale we've never seen before. The world is overpopulated by 4 billion. What do you think is going to happen to those 4 billion? Hope my ass. Naive: 4

Yeah. And there's absolutely nothing sexy about douching either (aside from the uncontrollable sobbing). Decent poem.

The line spacing is interesting but the poem doesn't say a whole lot.

Re: Concrete by beakism |

excellent work. But tell me: do you have any idea what a cubic yard of concrete weighs? Quite a bit. If there is ANY stage of construction that shouldn't be messed around with it is the one you describe. There is a firm in LA which specializes in cleaning up concrete spills, which happen when the molds and casts are incorrectly constructed. An accident resulting in several hundred tons of concrete to spill out of a mold can easily cost millions of dollars in repair, cleanup and damages. And women don't have a mind for that sort of thing anyway. Good work.
