I'll pray for you if you make it five poemes a week. Is it a deal?

the problem was that folks were flooding the site with every poem they've written in their 60-odd years or whatnot. With even one user adding 70 poems in a week, it was a bit absurd -- add on the fact that there's usually a couple of new users a week and in general people simple post all their poetry and disappear... and add on to THAT the fact that this site gets slammed occasionally (50 new users over the last two days, and counting, thanks to yahoo...)
what's wrong with picking what you consider to be your best-so-far? and slowly adding on to that?

No more than 3 poems a week? It's not like I just started writing for this site. I have quite a few poems and I wanted to put up a few more but I can't because of this restriction. I know the rule isn't just against me but I still don't like it.

i find the peom very optimistic although it begins with an apocalipticaly pictured from the old scandinavics religion.its deep senses is the nature dying from time to time and arising from the dead once more young and beatiful.everything there is pure nature -no person involved, just nuture.

That's called an 'Atomic Wedgie (TM)'. Next time you are about to be wedgied, I find it far less humiliating if you self-wedgie before they get to you.

It's people like you that give anti-racism a bad name. Can't you distinguish between not being ashamed to be <x> and being proud to be <x>? I'm not ashamed to be a human. But neither am I proud of it. I didn't do anything to achieve it. It doesn't make me better, in a moral sense than anything else. There is no conceivable reason why I should be proud of it. You are clearly not ashamed of being black, which I'm sure is fine and dandy. But why are you proud of it? Did you earn it? Does it make you a better person? I'm tempted to think this is a joke, since it is such an amazingly hackneyed and pointless expression of the 'self-esteem' that gets shoved down people's throats every time they leave their house or turn on their TV.

I preferred 'Morning Glory'. The last line in this actually made me fart with disappointment.

You must have spent years in an underground cliche factory to come up with such a wondrously tedious sentiment.

If you thought of the phrase 'go bobbing for the lap snorkel', you have just won the 2002 -=Dark_Angel=- Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence. Otherwise, you haven't.

How dare you! You bring the disfavour of the Gods upon us all with such insolence! The Gods made us. We did not make the Gods. To argue otherwise is naughtiness.

Well at least you have a beak. Did you know that some creatures don't even have beaks? It's true. Ask mummy if you don't believe me.

Then don't stand to close to me, for I'm sure that 2 such targets so near each other would prove too tempting.

People will just edit their poemes willy-nilly in order to get back on the list. They won't even need to make any changes for the system to think it has been edited.
responding to:
-------------
good call, I'll do that. =)
responding to:

When you edit a poem (pehaps based on feedback from in here) the edited poem should go back on the recent list? It is then more likely you will get more comments and further suggestions for improvement.
