regarding some deleted poem... 23-Feb-05/7:05 PM
i cannot believe this poem is currently ranked first, not only is it very cliche, but the rhyming is not very well done

Re: The Escape by Geschäftsreise 5-Mar-05/11:41 AM
um why dont you write a story not a poem, because this comes across as very unskilled and choppy

but you might to nicely if you make it into a short story
Re: one moment to the other by nentwined 5-Mar-05/11:44 AM

Re: A Sonnet for Barbara by PatColvin 7-Mar-05/5:46 PM
it is nice as a poem for your wife, but noone else, its rhymes are unimaginative and weak, and it doesnt have a lot of appeal -- sonnets are ahrd though so ill give you a 5 for effort -
Re: Thundershowers and my best friend by NeeMan 7-Mar-05/5:53 PM

Re: Alone by frdup717 10-Mar-05/1:13 PM
i like this - but i must say i disagree

the answers are never in any one else but yourself, and if you are not finding them then you may not be ready to know -

but i don't think, even though we would all like to believe otherwise, that the answers can be found in any other person

Re: Resurrection by Dreammaker1024 10-Mar-05/1:22 PM
i like this but it is a bit too much all at once
i think that the concrete block of words may make people less likely to read it - perhaps if you broke if up into verses or stanzas

regardless it was good -

Re: The Artist by Dreammaker1024 10-Mar-05/1:28 PM
i really really like this you tell it well

p.s. - you are here because you obviously like to wright poetry - so i ask you this

why not put her name in the books and the learned memory of those around the world?
Re: Painting by RION12 10-Mar-05/1:31 PM
i like this - it actually reminds me of something i wrote - in fact the theme is very similar

(perhaps great minds think alike?) :)

you could make it a little bit better if you sharped some of the edges and played with your word choice, but it is overall very nicely done - 9 -
