I don't know...live and learn I guess...I was probably a bit harsh, I got heated in the moment you know? So it probably wasn't completely worthless..but who knows! :)
Very well done, I like the repition, yet its not overdone so it still flows, it just makes sense, I really like this one.

If the poem is that bad, then why not tell me why you are giving it a zero?

If you have something to say, then say it. If you actually read my poem you would see that I wasn't praising Reagan, I despised all of his social programs and anyone who understands Russian history knows that while he was President during an important time of U.S. and Soviet Union relations, the fall of that empire was more due to internal politics. So what are you telling me here?

I didn't say that the civil war was related to Ronald Reagan, what I said was, that seeing the sign reminded me of the CAUSES of the civil war, primarily the lack of common interests between the regions, the majority of churches split in the 1850's and the demise of the whig and the split that occured within the Democratic party at the convention of 1860 meant that regional parties and regional interests became more important in the lives of individuals, so that there was no common ground or connection between a farmer in the south and a worker in the North, the civil society and other factors that had kept the country together were no longer there. The country's response to the death of Reagan shows that today, our government and probably more importantly, our civil society is what unities us and maintains one country rather than allowing us to splinter into different groups. Thats what I was saying. While there are so many differences between us there are some similarities, I was just describing what happened to me yesterday as I was driving around town and thats what I was thinking of.

Ya know, I'm not exactly sure if it worked out or not, I think I am still trying to figure out if it is good or bad, change is like that. But thanks!

Oh I'm sure you could train hamsters. Maybe you should write a poem about scottish midgets, or Irish midgets, could be interesting.

well if its a break up poem, its a good one. From one break-up survivor to another, I love this.

This does not say that my life has failed, and the baby is not mine-but thanks for reading closely and paying attention!

No, we aren't still together. I was trying to say that our bodies fit as we lay in the grass, but in addition, I felt that "we" fit as a couple, but maybe there is a better way to express that. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is a work in progress-but I wanted some feedback, thanks!
