VADA
His face hurts, and where is his glasses? He can't see without his glasses! Put his glasses on!
(Harry and Shelly are rapidly approaching Vada, Shelly takes hold of her and tries to pull her away)
Put on his glasses! He was gonna be an acrobat.
HARRY
He's gone sweetheart. He's gone!
VADA
Get away, get away!!

Really? Are you saying you're REALLY "a lady I always see on the same bridge... She just peers off into the waters... homeless or just listless"? Or should I have made a clearer exception in my hat offer for people who think they're living in undergrad fiction-writing writing?

I've hardly ever made suggestions on your poems, except perhaps the suggestion that you 'stop writing incoherent drivel.' If you're suggesting you would remove your poems more into drivel if you stopped writing incoherent drivel, I'd like to see you try. If you mean you'll remove them more into drivel by adopting one of my many OBSERVATIONS, what the hell ever. Yours forever,
zodiac

I suggest you start with the brim and chomp hard, because I am she. "She's got a day; she's got long hair, And a sparkle with a tint."

I'd leave off the opening statement...and then proofread it..."to this to this shadowy bridge"? I'm guessing a typo...

Couplet 4 is redundant and contradictory. (How the hell did you manage that?)
Why call it a free verse poem?
Kind of a good lullaby.

What bad luck to survive a horrific plane crash only to be chased down, killed and devoured by vicious bunny rabbits.
Funny stuff.

The Vin Diesel you see in movies is actually a rare hairless gorilla indigenous to the jungle/toxic waste dump known as The Bronx. This explains the indecipherable monkey babble that dribbles from his mouth whenever he attempts to speak ('cause he's from The Bronx. Get it? brlllrumpbump-Tishhh.)
I've sped up the evolutionary process for his species so that within the next five years he and his kind will evolve into giant erect penises that will unite to take over the world beating all humans to death with their huge heads only to soon become extinct in the subsequent celebration catastrophe when they all drown in their own ejaculation. The world will then be the way it always should have been, Stupid.
Hear the prophecy of Evil Denis.

Dear Wilco,
In a hotmail message, someone might have suggested a Memphis drink. If so, she was adding a friendly reminder that poetry is good as basis for talk and cross check of notions like these, which I might add are pretty good.

Then I'll remove them farther from reality and more into drivel by adopting your suggestions.

The end has a tweak, and his name is Jerry. Just a memory, but with a lot more sense than I gave him credit for back then.

The lacluster ending is regret, which is almost always without luster. Grabbing attention is my primary goal. thanks.

You expect too much from one with the brain of a tree. Glad to hear the is not the pits. I know it lacks glitz. But at least it has tits, which has commonly been ascribed to the female way of expression. Thanks for the input.

ADDENDUM: It turns out that if you actually select "Roguefort" it directs you to a page about ordinary Roquefort. I'd had an image of an especially roguish blue-veined cheese not unlike a cheese version of ultragay British actor Ian McKellen which has, thankfully, been punctured. Not unlike ultragay British actor Ian McKellen.
