Not sure about the last one..."poem" one or two? Maybe it's the satire like everyone else said. If it is, I get it and it's funny.

"My memories, reduced, don't reside at your distaste." - Do you have any idea what this means?
zodiac on some deleted poem 25 Apr 2004, 8:09 AM
It's a pretty intelligible poem; it just doesn't mean what you say it does. And the title doesn't fit.
wilco on She Searches For Love by validus_vox 25 Apr 2004, 8:12 AM
I was going to give this a 7 until I read the comments and saw what it is about. For what it's worth, I think you should try the above suggestion and try rewriting it and trying to find the "right" words (I didn't get that it was a mentally ill girl until the comments). Still, it's not bad at all.
wilco on Mental Escape by validus_vox 25 Apr 2004, 8:15 AM
Yes, some punctuation would definitely make this better.

"Imperfection is where true beauty lies." A perfect motto for the flaccid-minded, ' artistic' teenaged girl: vague and wishy-washy enough that no definite meaning can be assigned to it, even by the author, but so manifestly absurd that one can show each of the particular possible meanings to be utter buncombe. -10-

looky, its a arrowhead. What is this creature, and how did its description merit a ten from daveslady? Are you, by any chance, Dave? I can give it a nine I guess, cuz well if its good enough for her...
