Re: a comment on The bad news is his bones are like rubber by Venus 29-Jul-04/6:11 PM
Yeah, it's clearly missing the WIIFM factor.

The condemnation is coming from the good news/bad news doctor. Why? Because the central character is clearly at fault for the bad news - that his bones are like rubber. Whose bones? Why, the water dragon's bones, of course.

Geez, it's becoming cryptic even to me now!

You've captured the "spirit" of that mess perfectly.

I hear you. But it's no riddle. An "afflicted" woman is hearing some news. She doesn't hear the whole message because her mind is busy trying to justify her potential guilt. Too shrouded perhaps?

I like to get a little feedback before explaining context, just to see if anyone can piece it together as-is. But feeling it is good too, yes?

Thanks. I hear you on the shorter refrain. I'll play around with it a bit more.
Re: a comment on Gap-Fold vs. Sour Milk by Venus 27-Jul-04/11:38 AM
Thanks for the advice. I'm not really a lyrical sort, but I'll play with the form and repost.

Thanks. How do you think I could better set up the past and present?

Glad I found this one - a big, fat 10.
Re: a comment on For you, I'd make meatloaf by Venus 14-Feb-03/2:37 PM
Indeed, you are truly blessed. No oats. Breadcrumbs, and not the prepackaged sort. The preparation of food you are unwilling to eat is an intuitive process, as well. One must intuit what might make it exemplary, while remaining true to the classical version. Uh, what were we talking about again?
Re: a comment on For you, I'd make meatloaf by Venus 14-Feb-03/2:06 PM
Have I already become so predictable?
Re: a comment on For you, I'd make meatloaf by Venus 14-Feb-03/10:25 AM
I also hate meatloaf, won't touch it. That's the point. However, I am a fan of buffalo meat.
