Re: a comment on body image by http://mulberryfairy 29-Sep-03/3:48 AM
Isn't locomotion a 60's song (comon baby do the locomotion). Anyway, Mulberrry, what exactly is the "spirtiual notification" that was missed? Are you trying to point out the absurdity of our obsession with self image in the face of genuine tragedy? I think most people, whether they are conscious of it or not, use things like excercise to escape the daily tragedy that is thier lives. But yes, there are many who live in a box and can't see past their own vanity. Now that's a real tragedy. I liked this piece. Thought it was very well written. -8-
Re: Break Me by Freethinker1602 28-Sep-03/2:33 PM
You will not receive salvation/redemption by being "broken" or taken to task by your earthly or heavinly Father. Self reflection and discipline will get you where you want to go...Then, if you are worthy,.. your "Father" will be willing to converse with you. Stop being a jelly fish! You need a spine to stand up on your own two feet!
Re: a comment on Escape is an Unaffordable luxury by Freethinker1602 28-Sep-03/2:26 PM
I tell ya, I'm fed up to here (my nose)with all this talk of suicide..oh how painful life is.. bla bla bla..grow the fuck up..deal with it..or do us all a fucking favor and blow your fucking brains out..but please, no more "poems" about lifes tribulations!
Re: a comment on Ctrl freak (Alt+ version) by <~> 26-Sep-03/4:21 PM
I really wich you would have taken this one all the way. You stopped at 2nd base...didn't even round the bag and threaten to take 3rd. Now i can kind of imagine how a "full manipulation" might end for you....with sweaty brow and wet panties ....but what about the poor chap trapped inside your CRT? No happy ending for him? Ah it get it! This poem turns the tables on men who have the nasty habit of satisfying themselves sexually while leaving their partner (female) in an utter state of frustration. Not that I've ever expereinced such a phenomenon.....I always ring the bell!! - Brilliant twist!
Re: a comment on Ctrl freak (Alt+ version) by <~> 26-Sep-03/4:13 PM
Huh?
Re: Ctrl freak (Alt+ version) by <~> 26-Sep-03/3:17 PM
Proof that too much time on the internet distorts ones sense of reality. I'm really happy the ending did occur in the midst of a sexual climax... yours or your 2 dimensional friend...screen cleaner was just not meant to handle such a job. Go to a bar or club tonight. I'm sure you'll do better.....at least I hope so.

Re: Brighton Beach by Caducus 24-Sep-03/10:27 AM
Sounds a lot like Brighton Beach in my home town of Brooklyn New York. Along with its neighbor, Coney Island, Brighton Beach has become a safe haven for gangs and Russian mobsters. Sad. -8-
