Hmm, I don't know whether you're a literary genius in the making or just another serial pervert. Still, pretty good stuff.

Looser? Dear, oh dear, oh sodding dear!!!!!!!!!
Man, your poems reach all-new depths of shiteness that the rest of us could never reach, even if we tried. Sorry, but we'll just have to let you be crap on your own (aww, diddums!).

Yes, and your username is a similar attempt to make yourself out as something other than a fat bloated swine who can only make friends anonymously! And as for you having a friend, she only likes you out of pity - if she knew what you were really like, she'd probably vomit. Leave this site NOW, before you drag it and its reputation even further into the gutter.
PS - your poems still suck dog balls.

Bugger off, you pedantic, pretentious, faux-literati bourgeois-intellectual simpleton! Your work is overblown, poorly written filth, you have the manner of a stuffed turkey and you, sir, are testing my patience! Begone, before you have the nerve to submit any more of this kind of doggerel again!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, this is just poor. Dude, learn to spell, and don't write any contrived rubbish just to make the lines rhyme. You really need to sort out your act, and please stop spewing that 'daywalker' macho-crap!

A clerihew is a two-lined poem, the first being someone's name, the second being a (witty) rhyme with that name. Hope that clears things up - have a go yourself, 'tis very amusing!!!

It's a kind of double mark of respect, both to Clapton and crew (who I agree were the greatest Brit rock band, along with Phil Lynott with Thin Lizzy), and also to my personal idol, Charlie 'Bird' Parker, the bebop alto sax god. Glad you like it, mush! Oh, and out of interest, what does Frass mean?

You are laughable, to be sure. Not only are you an ignorant simpleton, but you also attempt to defend your ignorance, thus rendering you an even bigger clown. Have you ever even listened to Charlie Parker or Dizzy Gillespie? If not, buy a copy of Charlie Parker's 'Ko-ko' to give you an idea of what REAL bop sounds like, and while doing so realise that it's foolish for an amateur such as yourself to dabble with the great art-forms. Leave it to us professionals, kiddo.

Seeing as you are the Arch-pedant of Poemranker, I'll let you do pissy comments (if they're going to be made, at least have 'em done prop), as they're so beautifully written... (ahem!) Also, thanks for pointing out the typos, and for another person calling me SIR Yardbird - I've not been officially knighted, but it's in the pipeline(hmm, maybe it's time I updated my username, bwah, hah, hah...!)!

Poor and inane - 3 points, and only because you did at least include some kind of structure. Oh, and as a professional bebop saxophonist, I implore you to stop embarrasing yourself by displaying the vast gaps in your knowledge - "shoe-be-do-be-do" is utter bollocks. Proper bop scat singing goes something like this:
"Oo-bop-eel-ya-da, bop-sh'bam, a-klook-a-mop". Show some respect, you cock-knocker.

Pretty darn good! I really like the idea of "dusty throated saxophone" - tell me, young sir, do you ever listen to the great tenor saxist Lester Young, 'cos he was close to Lady Day (hell, he came up with that moniker!), appeared on some of her finest cuts, and it just so happens his fabulous tenor sound was the dustiest and warmest sound going (or was that a deliberate point you were making?) Good work, sir - you have style (said he, shuffling off to his record collection with a glass of malt whiskey...)!!

I see your point, but seing as "merchant bankers" is Cockney rhyming slang for wankers, I felt it would be better put as the former.
