Hi blues361. It's great to have you here at PoemeRanker! There's just one thing that we do ask of our fellow rankers, and that is that they declare their gender as part of the registration process. It's quite painless I assure you. Just click on the "Suggestions" tab at the top of your screen then click on "Post a suggestion" - it's near the top. Next type your name and gender in the box and press Submit. So you should type in: "name: blues361 gender: female".
That's about all I have to say. Have a great time at PoemeRanker!

Wow. That was a cunning plan. Though I fail to see how changing your votes will thwart me. Unlike you, I am not a professional writer. I'm not even an amateur writer. I'm a professional christian and an amateur philosopher. With aspirations to become an astronaut. And nothing you say or do can take that away from me.

I'm sure you and Settle have enjoyed many intimate evenings of candlelit fisting together, but that's not when he forwarded you the email, is it? QED to the max baby.

P.S If you are suggesting that -=Dark_Angel=- has been voting on his own poemes in a mindless attempt to top the best list you are mistaken. Nevertheless, I do get the feeling that as of late *somebody* has been smearing my felchings with more than their fair share of anonymous votes. I do not know who. But even if I had been voting on my own secretions (which I haven't), that would merely add to the credibilty of my scores because my voting algorithm is about ten times less wrong and stupid than the average poemeranker's.

'James' is what horus8 likes to call -=Dark_Angel=-, because he once received a forwarded email from Settle, and the sender was called James. horus8 is a dunce.

More like the time Andrew Barford and Misha Sidhu trapped David Anderson in the fencing cupboard for an entire luncheon period.

Do you understand how the indentation of a comment relates to its position in the hierarchy of the discussion?

In what way was "history different forever"? Did the events of September 11th 2001 alter the past? No. Or perhaps you mean that history on September 12th 2001 was different from that on September 10th 2001 because it contained the events of the 11th. But that would have been the case whatever happened. In conclusion, you're an idiot.

What's the point in praying for someone after they're dead? The whole point of Hell is that once you're there, you're there forever. The idea that you could somehow convince God to let them out just by praying is incredibly childish and ignorant.

Is this the same Rudyard Kipling who was expelled from The Baker's Guilde for pulling down his trousers and laughing madly at a tin of Exceedingly Good Cakes? I daresay his Plum Dumplings were the finest droppings ever to be secreted by human glands. Such a pity about that business with the exposed buttocks and the baguette au chocolat. Yes his methods may have been unorthodox, some may even say unholy, but I do feel it is time to let bygones be bygones and move on to cleaner pastures. This tired scandal has plagued the press for long enough!

Chillingly delightful! I especially enjoyed the whimsical spasm of joy I underwent upon reading "Knowing that you don't live in an ark". Of course, the price is another four hours of unimaginable agony as my crippled body jerks back and forth within my cruel Wheeled-chair of its own volition, but I daresay it's worth it! 10!!

I can't believe it! It's amazing that you mention a special crown for good families, because in my town that's exactly what we have! Every year, the mayor selects five outstanding families from the town and awards them the Family Prize for friendship, love and courage. This year my family was one of the five! We don't get a crown exactly, but we do get a special medal that we're allowed to wear on special occassions. I guess it's kinda similar to your crown idea! I love my family. -10-

It is a well know literary phenomenon that infinitely many people have rhymed "love" with "above", but I've never seen anyone attempt to do it twice in one poeme. This really is such an emotional piece, with an emotion nestling not only on each line, but between each line as well. I'm not an expert on poetry, but when a piece like this is so full of joy, love, pain, emotions, tenderness, hope, fear and wonder, I cannot help but give you a -10-. Thanks.
