I'm going back to art school

September is coming You know what that means I'm going back to art school Should I get a haircut Or should I let my hair grown long I don't care Because I'm going back to art school And they accept me for who I am Even if I'm asian or handicapped Or black sans blaccent Or in a wheelchair with baseball cards in the spokes At art school we are accepting of all kinds of folks I can be as trampy Or hairy as I want to be I can with gouache paint my face In colors for you all to see And nobody will put me down or call me a faggot At art school you never feel like a maggot Art school is wonderful We get to draw things We get to fuck around and stuff We get to watch Designing Women on Lifetime We get to act like that all the time And still get course credit Art school art school ART SCHOOL At art school, art school, art's COOL I'll go to the harbour and wave in the schooners Bringing us fresh new turks and koreans To spruce up the body of students we have Because at art school, art's cool I'm going to go to the painting studios And say "wow these are wonderful!! good work!" Regardless of what Wilde said about such behaviour I'm going to go to design studios And say "wow I'd totally buy this! Too cool!" Even to people designing products for the disabled I'm going to go to the sculpture studios And say "I like your use of mass!" I'm going to go to architecture studios And say "I'd love to live or work in that space!!" I'm going to go to the ceramics studios And say "wow, I'd love to eat my cereal out of that!!" I'm going to go to the textiles studios And say "wow, I'd love that as a wall hanging-it's that wonderful!!" I'm going to go to the glass studios And say "wow, I'd love to smoke out of that!!" I'm going to go to the landscape architecture studios And say "wow, I'd love to take my lunch break under them trees!" I'm going to go to the furniture studios And say "wow, I'd totally buy and sit on that!" I'm going to go to the jewelery studios And say "wow, if I got my significant other that, s/he'd be delighted!!" I'm going to go to the film studios And say "wow, that film was amazing!!
