Oviously, it was not on your merits. Did you look at their voting records? They didn't have time to even read your poems before voting. Do you know these idiots?

I'm sure thepinkbunnyofdoom appreciates the 10 you gave to each of his poems today, and the zeros needed to raise several of his to the top 20, helped of course by the 10's of Vince Dolamando, Nicely done! You realize, the poetntial is unlimited with multiple usernames and annonymous votes.

Portently is from portent. Their tetherball and foursdquare games portend the kind of grownups they will become.

If you're calling it Poet, Earth Mover, then maybe use bulldozer in the last line. Or you could call it Poet, Farmer.

Thatâs great that he was able to read it. Did he get all of the words, even metamorphose? Even if he didnât, but figured out the way it works, thatâs good for a fifth grader. Maybe they have an easier time of bringing order to chaos than we do.

Metamorphose â yes. Bunk â no. Wingdings would make it completely illegible, and anyone can do that. I wanted it barely legible, with just enough pattern so the reader can see order in apparent chaos.

I was hoping the reader would infer something about the woman from the last line - that being unliked herself, she understands the feelings this boy must have. Otherwise the poem would be merely a description of the fat boy, and the woman just an observer. You seem to see this. To say more about her would detract, I think, from the blunt focus on the fat boy, and overcomplicate the story.

To sweep clean the pavement because it is smelly. But I still think fat people are jollier on average than non-fat people, be they poor or not. I donât know the reason for this, but is appears true.

Snake heaven may have tall golden canes, but virgins for the Pilgrim Puritans? And that last verse with its semicolon and new sentence midway, well, look at the grammar.

Funny, most of the ones I know seem jollier than the average person. Poor or not poor seems irrelevant.

Except for some confusing spacing and "my phone calls are touching," which seems to change the focus, I like it.

Q1: edpeterson, as anyone can see.
Q2: A hierarchy of hunger is clearly shown in both Hunger poems, call it what you will.
Q3: Itâs not about hell.
Q4: 0.75 +/- 0.20. 0 is clearly incorrect!
Q5: The only useful thing youâve said in weeks.

I do apologize for the lipstich with its clearly gay implications for gang members. In the hierarchy of hunger itâs up there with âfatsistâ and saying all fat people are not jolly. How do I keep coming up with such nonsense?
