The Privaleged (Free verse) by i_am_the_popsicle
seriously, how sick is it, that sadness is a luxary that we feel we don't deserve it probably has its roots in mothers who coereced their children to eat with threats of poor children in China but the children in China will always be poorer than we are our awareness of this has escalated and now we are not even allowed to be sad or lonely or depressed, since afterall, others are always worse off than we are, and my problems simply cannot compare alone in dark rooms tears are shed in shame more than sadness and we wonder why our rate out suicide is so high

Up the ladder: Love Lie's In Misery
Down the ladder: If I knew

It's interesting that suicide tends to be more prevalent during peace time. Having an enemy to fight against seems to give people a sense of purpose, and while they're busy gouging out his eyes, or stamping on his balls, Kurt Cobain is merely a whining gnat on the buttocks of their subconscious.
