when I was a little girl, my grams said if you look very carefully you can see where the faries have hung out their laundry all over the lawn...and sure enough I did...of course now I tell my little girl the same...look in the morning where the dew hangs on little spider webs...it looks like canopys of laundry... Beautiful...thanks for bringing back an old memory :) :) Bethy

CS Lewis says that even the most ideal cirmstance falls short of providing satisfaction. The best marriage, the best friendship, they all fail to fulfill our wants. It is probable, therefore, he goes on, that only by looking to a force beyond the limitations of humanity can we find satisfaction.

Re: a comment on Coffee Incorrectly by gregsamsa222 gregsamsa222 64.12.116.138 5-Aug-05/3:07 PM
Heard the term on a travel show. A native in Amsterdam took the host to a cafe, and ordered something. She turned to the host and said, 'That has no translation in English. It more or less translates to 'coffee incorrectly.'" Dunno why, but I like the term, and tried to undercut the awkwardness of it by putting it in quotes the first time its used, hoping to make it seem more like a specific item on the menu...
