Fairies (Free verse) by whispern_smoke_wisp
the glistening dew on the grass
speaks to me saying
the world is perfect,
just for this one single moment in time
and the fairies were all dancing
before you came outside.
I'm shivering, standing here
with only my flimsy white night shift
to keep me warm
the lawn is wet
my feet are pruning
and the sun, peaking gently
from behind the clouds
is mildly scolding me,
because apparently
what I just interuppted
was the grand wedding
of a fairy prince and princess
