Everything I've done I've done either by incurring huge expense or commiting myself to dozens of things I wasn't ready for and only being halfway decent at any of them. If I had it to do again, I'd join the army.

1) You can't love someone by wanting to return her innocence and respect. That means you love someone with innocence and respect who she is not - yet. 2) You can be pretty sure she doesn't love you. Or even feel you, technically.

Obviously his disliking you has nothing to do with whether your poem tells or story or not, or even whether or not it tells a story we understand. Besides, of course we understand. We've all been 13 once, while you haven't been 26 yet. I don't mean to be negative, just don't say stuff like that anymore. And go out and try to have some, you know, experiences and stuff.

I think you should drop "on fridays" to help the rhythm of the poem flow better. Feels like the melancholy you see in a lot of those indie films. Bed tortoise: Great image. You can really tell the wording was well thought out.

Credit where its due this is the best I've seen from you and deserves comments. I see a lot of control in this and the language form is a detraction from your usual style. In a word - graceful.
