Re: my goat by joey rnuk 86.137.229.192 14-Aug-06/2:15 PM
This is simply not true. Goats can be milked and the milk can be made into tasty cheeses. Starts off good, gets silly (bad silly) very quickly.

If it wasn't so wordy, it could be better. I'm not saying I don't like wordy stuff; I'm a bit of a sesquipedelian myself, but the more obscure words and tangled phrases seem unnecessary and draw it dangerously close to pretention, and pretentious is a hard look to pull off well.

I'm a fussy arse, me. This is good, but the exclaimation marks are superfluous I think, and it would be much more beautiful and understated without them. Sorry.

Confused and confusing.

I hate to have to agree with Mr Robins (who writes garbage normally) but this is truly splendid. It reminds me of my fat ugly neighbour Betty.

Fabulous. Roy Orbison (old wall-eye) was a god.

You must be some sort of intellectual giant. Not.

Puerile, ignorant, racist shite.

That is an excellent poem. Truly splendid. Most women in Ireland have terrible, terrible, pale doughy, stretched breats with hideously coloured Auroles and turquoise veins. The rest used to be men.
Re: Falling for Roy by Engelbert Humpalot Stephen Robins 213.146.148.199 14-Aug-06/9:01 AM
Quite good.
Re: A Poem For George Bush by Edna Sweetlove Stephen Robins 213.146.148.199 14-Aug-06/8:59 AM
What complete and utter bilge.
Re: A Sexy Crucifixion Poem by Edna Sweetlove Stephen Robins 213.146.148.199 14-Aug-06/8:59 AM
You're such an annoyingly gay cunt.

You are perhaps the greatest satirist since Peter Cook.
Re: How to Bleed by MacFrantic creepshow 71.34.14.103 14-Aug-06/8:16 AM
I like the "do it slowly and grimace" part...I can relate...A silent ecstacy in pain. You write from the heart.
Re: Pale Blue by MacFrantic creepshow 71.34.14.103 14-Aug-06/8:14 AM
I like the last few lines, "...sail into a pale blue Nothingness like you." Very piercing.
Re: Memories Of Home by Edna Sweetlove Engelbert Humpalot 194.154.22.54 14-Aug-06/7:55 AM
Sheer beauty. And how fucking true!
Re: The Consultation by Edna Sweetlove Engelbert Humpalot 194.154.22.54 14-Aug-06/7:49 AM
Fucking brilliant. I think I recognise my brother-in-law here.
Re: Blinking by zodiac Engelbert Humpalot 194.154.22.54 14-Aug-06/7:46 AM
Very funny. I liked the line about the "ready cock". Sadly it's not meant to be funny. 1/10 and be grateful for that.

Don't talk bollocks, how is saying Rice is repulsive racist? She is repulsive because she's s lying fart, not because she's black. You're the one who's racist for even dreaming of it. Mongo.
