Replenished (Free verse) by outdoorzylady
Replenished by the sea, soothing harmony of wind and waves, natural symphony for this splintering, braying, detuned voice quavering alone in time, across this brazen beach. Cantering, galloping, the gleeful waters dance and in the sand children play, couples walk by hand in hand. What simple joys soothe my mind! Salty breezes on my cheek, cool wet sand under my feet; waves crashing, foaming; seagulls screeching, soaring; red ball blazing, sinking low. And here my loving friend sits by my side, as day dims and moon spotlights ebb and tide. This moment, this moment I don’t want to miss! This beauty, this feeling, is life’s sweet kiss.

Up the ladder: Wounding the Sovereign
Down the ladder: it's quiet

I'm a fussy arse, me. This is good, but the exclaimation marks are superfluous I think, and it would be much more beautiful and understated without them. Sorry.
