Re: profile of an abuser by inka 10-Jan-03/8:35 PM
It would be a better poem if you took out all the self-censorship and put in the real swear words you were using. It would hit harder. Never self-censor. It cuts the oomph out of your poetry.
Re: That feeling by trisha 7-Jan-03/10:00 AM
This has intensity but you should really not use "u" instead of "you." It's grating and annoying. Nice description of depression, though.
Re: a comment on Midnight in the Garden by Cha no Onna 7-Jan-03/9:49 AM
I gave it a name. Thanks for the vote. :)
If you didn't see it earlier, cha no onna means woman of tea in Japanese.
Re: The Fire Burns Bright (an Ode to Kaolin) by <~> 3-Jan-03/3:28 PM
It's cool that he did it and she said yes. Congrats to Kaolin and his fiancee - may the marriage be a happy one. Nice poem too.
Re: a comment on Dammit by Cha no Onna 3-Jan-03/3:23 PM
I found it! It was in an old box in the garage. YAY! It's now on Poemranker. And in my diary. And on my hard drive. Just in case.
Re: a comment on Cour by Cha no Onna 3-Jan-03/3:19 PM
I would like to find poetry in the conventional. Too many people try to use words as unconventionally as possible. It's at times like this that the meanings of words becomes twisted, and the poetry, un-understandable. If you want to see me being "unconventional," check out Autophage. No one got that one at all.
Re: a comment on Silence by Cha no Onna 3-Dec-02/11:24 AM
Oh. Just a few then. All done. Thanks for telling me that.
Re: a comment on Silence by Cha no Onna 3-Dec-02/10:36 AM
thank you. I appreciate your comments.

You are right; it should be "I wish I could sing to you the songs they sing to each other." Unfortunately, if I edit it, I'll lose your comments and Caducus's too.

It's nice to see one of your poems here. You're really very talented. You should post more.
Re: a comment on Hey! by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:22 PM
Yeah ... I think the people who said it sucked were some of the aforementioned pigeons ... it's more commentary than poetry.
Re: a comment on Cour by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:21 PM
Female, actually. Do you think you could say anything with any sort of *content?*
Re: a comment on To You by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:20 PM
What?
Re: a comment on To You by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:20 PM
It's always annoying when people leave bad comments anonymously ... *sigh* Anyway. The theme here is that my friend sucked. What was so great was that at one point my friend didn't suck. Could I be to blame? Well, I wasn't very understanding when said friend tried to kill herself in my house. So I guess so.
Re: a comment on Dammit by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:17 PM
No, it was on paper. It's STILL missing. :(
Re: a comment on For fun by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:16 PM
The first is from Where the Sidewalk Ends and is called "For Sale," and the second, I don't know where it's from, but it goes
Oh what shall I do
Oh what shall I do
This library book is
42 years overdue
I admit that it's mine
But I can't pay the fine!
Oh what shall I do!
Re: a comment on Autophage by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:14 PM
It's not "bellies." It's "belies," a different word.

Belies, Belied: To picture falsely, to misrepresent. (www.dictionary.com)
Re: a comment on Ifni's birthday by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:12 PM
But Ifni, don't you know you're "damn cute" constantly!
Not just when you're "Goth."
Re: a comment on Loneliness by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:12 PM
You're cute!
Re: a comment on Loneliness by Cha no Onna 8-Oct-02/5:11 PM
I wrote this poem 12 years ago when I was 15. Yeah, it needs work.
Re: Social Parody by skaskowski 1-May-02/2:00 PM
I also like the first three lines but don't get the last one.
