i agree with the hand of tan on this poem...it could be better abbreviated.
persoanl preference...try to think of different way to say "slashed my wrists"...like Manson in 'the fight song' with "they'll just cut our wrists like cheap coupons and say that death was on sale today"...just, or course, not stolen like that. that was a reference.
